It was winter, Spirit, A young cub was struggling to live in the wild, finding prey was harder then ever. So she had to find carcarasses and find shelter.

One day, while she was looking for food, She met a grown wolf called Jake. The pup was scared at first, but she got to know that Jake was harmless. Spirit and Jake started living together.

Jake teached Spirit the ways of a wild wolf and how to survive in the wild. Spirit slowly understood the ways of the wild and started to feel that she must work hard.

One day while Spirit was searching for food, She met Flare, a member of a wolf pack. Flare said that a wolf that lives in a pack is strong and it's easy to live. Spirit was curious. Then she returned and told Jake all about Flare and what she said.

Spirit went hunting with Jake. They met Flare again, but there was another wolf with her, Sapphire. Sapphire said that she was curious to meet Spirit, So Flare bringed Sapphire with her.

"Now I know what is this Flare thing about." He looked at Flare. "I hope you can explain things about a pack now." Flare explained the life of a wolf in a pack.

Suddenly a big, muscular wolf appeared. He was the leader, Storm. Storm said "What is going on here?" Flare explained everything.

Storm said "Go then, but I will decide if you will join." Many days passed, It was spring. Spirit was still in training, but it was easier. Jake said "You don't understand, but we will never see Flare or any of the wolves again." Spirit said "Really? I wish we could be good friends."

They went to live in a riverside. They would catch fish and Spirit learned how to swim. Jake said "You are doing well, You might grow up and become a great wolf."
