I dedicate this book to my dog Cooper because I am teaching him how to read.

Lisa is the type of girl that loves to go on awesome adventures with her twin brother, Max. Lisa and Max had just moved 12 blocks from where they used to live. So they are still pretty familiar with the area.“So” announced Lisa. “Where should we go to adventure today Max?”

“Outer space!” Replied Max in an exciting tone.
“ To the park it is!” Said Lisa.

Fine, but can we at least ride our bikes and have a picnic there? asked Max. “Sure, we a can pack peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.” Answered Lisa. “It will be fun."
Lisa and max walked into the garage where their mother and father were unpacking. Lisa asked if her and Max could ride their bikes to the park. “Sure” answered their mom. “Yes!” exclaimed Max. “What time will you two be leaving at exactly?” questioned their father. “Well, Max and I were thinking about leaving right now.” replied Lisa “yeah, totally.” Said Mom and Dad together.
Lisa and Max grab their peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and got on the road. Well, they get on the sidewalk. Lisa and Max were only 11 years old, so they still need to wear helmets and ride only on the sidewalk except when they need to cross the streets. “Come on you slowpoke!” screeches Lisa. “I know Lisa, I'm coming! Max soon screeched back to her.
So the two children got their bikes from their garage and headed over to the park for their awesome adventure. Little did the know that their little adventure is going to take a huge turn

Four minutes later, Lisa and Max came to a hard decision. They needed to decide whether they should take the long but downhill path, the short and uphill path or the middle path that is only flat. “let's go to the shorter way because I remember Dad taking us to the park this way.” Said Lisa. “No, we should go the longer way because you said this will be an adventure and if we always go the same ways every time then where will all of the adventure be?” disagreed Max. “Fine, I did say that this will be an adventure. We will go your way." “That sounds prefect.” agreed Max. “Whatever.” Mumbled Lisa.
The twins started on the longer path bike ride soon after they went to the bathroom. “Who is being slow now sis?” yelled Max. “Me” mumbled Lisa “What? shouted Max. “I couldn't hear you!” Max exclaimed in the most annoying way possible. “Do you always need to do that Max?” asked Lisa “Do what?” Mocked Max. “Nevermind.” sighed Lisa.

Lisa and Max started to inch down the long path to get themselves to the park to play and to eat a late lunch. However, there were many stalls on their way to the park. Now that they think about it they should just skip lunch, thought Lisa and just go straight into their dinner instead. That was how late they really were! Of course they were unaware of the time because neither Lisa nor Max had brought any type of watch at all!
“Hey Lisa?” asked Max “Where are we?” “Now Max, do you want the comforting answer, or the true, honest answer?” questioned Lisa. “The true and honest answer Lisa, dah.” said Max. “Well, to be honest with you Max” said Lisa. “Yeah, go on Lisa.” bombarded Max. “Well, I have know idea where we are. Sorry Max.”continued Lisa.
