I am my Daddy's Girl, that's for sure. My dad is the City Manager of Eden and is very hard working. He loves to be involved in his children's lives. He was even my softball coach for many years.

I am from Eden, North Carolina. A small city with a population of around 15,000. I went to the only high school in the city: Morehead High School.

I love food! I have many favorite restaurants. However, my favorite food is Mexican. I once went to the same Mexican restaurant for 34 days in a row! Crazy right?

I lived on a golf course in New Market, Virginia until I was four. One of the first memories I have is of me riding the golf cart with my dad. What else is in the first picture that starts with a G?

My mother loves the house we live in now, so much so, that when it went on the market, we moved directly next door and into it. I have lived in three different homes. The bottom picture is my first house that my parents built.

is for Jingle Bells

"Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells, Jingle all the way!!" My favorite thing in the whole world is..CHRISTMAS! I love buying people presents, singing Christmas carols, decorating the tree, and wrapping presents. It's the happiest time of the year!! What does your family do for the winter holidays?

Why did I decide to become a teacher? For the kids, of course. When I was in Kindergarten I wrote that I wanted to be a teacher. The older I got and the more I worked with kids, the more that statement became true. I love kids, especially the little ones.

What type of learner do you think you are? I know I am a visual learner. I like being able to see something in front of me and then connect that back to learning.

This is my mom, Cindy. She has been an educator for her whole life. My mother wears many hats within the community, school system, and at home. She is the Assistant Superintendent for Rockingham County Schools.

Before I became a teacher, I worked as a lifeguard. I worked in Eden at an outside pool during the summer and at the UNCG Recreation Center during the school year. What occupation do you want to have when you grow up?

I have three dogs. We have had all of them since they were puppies. Chance, the white one was my 10th birthday present.
