The Quran is the Islamic sacred book, believed to be the word of God as dictated to Muhammed from the angel Gabriel. It is written in Arabic.
Ramadan is a holy month of fasting and prayer for the Muslims. During each day, Muslims are not allowed to eat from sunrise to sunset. They also should filter out any impure thoughts and bad behavior.


Eid Al-Fitr marks the end of Ramadan. During this time, there is a feast of fast breaking. It last for three days and starts the day after Ramadan.

Muhammed was the prophet and founder of Islam. He is also known as the Messenger of God. He was sent to confirm the teachings of monotheism.

Abu Bakr
Abu Bakr was the father in law of Muhammed. He led the first Hajj of behalf of Muhammed. He was also the first Caliph of Islam from 632 to 634.

Umar was chosen by the followers to lead after Abu Bakr died. His mission was to expand Islamic rule across the peninsula. He was also the second caliph of islam
