I dedicate this book to my loving family as well as my devoted clients. Where would I be without you!

Good Morning. My name is Harmony and I am a humming bird. I am a feather stylist here at the Feathers, Fluff and Fringe salon. I have a very busy day today filled with important birds from our flock. My first client will be here at 8:30 on the beak so let's get ready!

My first client is Mr. Prim the Peacock and he is the mayor of our flock. He likes to come in every morning first thing to get preened for the day. Mr Prim says, "I have a very important meeting today, so I need to look my best. We are putting some new condo bird's nest up in the oak on Main Street."

I wash and dry. I tease and comb. I fluff and puff. Mr. Prim's feathers were preened out and he looks so handsome. He says "Harmony, without you, I would not look this good. Now, I can stand up in front of all the townsbirds and feel confident." I am very happy I get to style the mayor's feathers.

My next clients are the sweetest Dodo Birds you will ever meet. Their names are Didi and Don and they are always late. But I don't mind. They have the busiest feed-diner in the whole flock called D's Bugs. I wash and dry. I tease and comb. I fluff and puff. They look spectacular!

Mrs. Didi says, "Harmony, I always fly out of here in such great style." Mr. Don says, "Yes ma'am! We are the chirp of the whole flock because we all look so good. Every bird at the feed-diner says so." It makes me feel happy to get to style the Dodo's feathers.

My next clients are the Stork family. Mrs. Sandy Stork brings in her four sons, Sal, Sam, Saul, and Tom for them to have their feathers trimmed. Mrs. Sandy is a very busy and important lady. She is president of the Nest Owner's Association as well as the president of her children's PTO as well as the President of the local chapter of the Hen's Club.

Sal, Sam, Saul and Tom were very smart and very busy. They were involved in Math Club, Chirp Scouts, Baseball and Sal was the best singer in the local Tweeters Choir. I cut and cut and cut and cut. After I finished the boys, Mrs. Sandy tells me, "I have a very important meeting today and I have to look my best." I wash and dry. I tease and comb. I fluff and puff. They all looked amazing. Mrs. Sandy says, "Now I can go in front of the school board tonight with confidence and style. Thanks so much Harmony." It makes me happy to make some bird so important feel so good.
