The New England Colonies was a healthier place than others to live at. They had a lot of people, had public schools and very few African Americans.

The Middle Colonies had a lot of immigrants, was very diverse and had a few African Americans.

The Southern Colonies did not have a lot of people. The people that were there were poor. There was a lot of African Americans in this colony. None of the men who lived here were not married. There weren't a lot of schools or churches and it was not a safe place to live.

The English Bill of Rights gave the people of these colonies many freedoms. A Parliament is a law making body in England.

Women were not able to do a lot. Which meant they did not have a lot of rights. Married women could not own things like property. They could not vote, be in the political office or serve on jury.

Women were very important during this time. Women were very influential people for children. They were teachers and taught education to very few children.

Religion was very important in colonial life. It was a very sometimes the only source of information, teachings, and "protection".

The freedom of religion inspired the freedom within the government that they had.
