This little girl is very sad. She doesn't have any friends.

So she decides to go looking for a friend.

First, she goes to the forest. In the forest she sees a bird.

"Hey, bird! Do you want to be my friend?" she asks.

The bird just flies away. The little girl is very sad.

She goes to the park. There are two boys playing together "Hey! Do you want to be my friend?" she asks.

"No, thanks," says one of the boys.

"We are best friends and don't need another friend," says the other one.

Then she sees another girl standing all by herself.

"Hello! Do you want to be my friend?" the little girl asks.

"Go away!" says the other girl with a grumpy voice, "Nobody wants to be your friend."

So the girl turns around and walks away. She feels sad and lonely.
