I'm Emily!

"Hi"my name is Emily . I am a worm. I live in Florida. My family lives in a National Park in the .....I think it is called the Everglades something or other. Today I am going to visit them. On our way we will go on a short cut through 3 different kinds of soil. Let's Go! I wonder what kind of soil they have where my family lives?

I am in sand!

I'm on the road. I'm taking a shortcut through the sandy beach, so I'm officially in sand. Sand has very big particles. It is like a brownish tan color. Boy I sure am hungry, but most plants don't grow well in sand. I guess I'll have to keep looking.

I am in clay, but it's not easy to move around down here. It is a reddish orange color. Clay has bigger partials then sand but, smaller partials then the next soil. Clay is not the best place to plant plants in ether. I see the sign for the National Park. I am almost there! Hooray!

to see you. I missed you so much.Can I take a look around? Sure honey. Thanks mom". So we are in Loam. FINALLY!! Loam is one of my personal favorites. Loam is also called dirt or soil. It is the best kind of soil to plant in.
