Emily is torn among soccer, basketball, and volleyball.

She watches some sporting events with her dad to help her decide among the sports.

Emily decides to try out for the soccer team because the soccer game was the most interesting to her.

The next day at school she tells her friends she's trying out for soccer. Her friends surprise her by telling her they're trying out for the team with her.

That afternoon, tryouts for the team start and Emily is nervous.

I'm so nervous.

The first day of tryouts end and she goes home to rest for the second day. She eats dinner with her family.

After dinner, Emily thinks she did badly at her first day of tryouts. She then watches more soccer games to make sure she does better tomorrow.
