
On January 10, 2013, employees were closing a department store in Los Angeles, california. Without warning, two armed men ran into the store and took them as hostages. The Los Angeles Swat team was called to the scene. Team members quickly surrounded the crime scene.






Several U.s. federal agencies have swat teams. These agencies include the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), and the U.S. Marshals Service. These units may be called in when certain federal laws are broken or when national security is threatened.
