In 1775 the king was given several letters asking him to lay off I suppose. The first letter he received was asking in a nice manor for him to give us what we want and the second one was more violent and that he was banned, well this angered him so much he did not even read the letter about the olive branch.

In the making of the Articles of Confederation the Congress and almost everybody were hoping that it would be finished within three months but it was confirmed in three years, this happened because of certain problems, such as people not agreeing with them and the economy. While this was happening Virginia wanted all the states to work together in a way, but Maryland and a few other states totally disagreed because if they were to share one (government) there would be other documents and treaties, I suppose. A while later the government was printing new money that was completely useless, because of this the farmers gave their supplies to the British because their money was actually worth something.

Now that Washington was a big hit across the nation he would be used in many ways like almost an ad, because Washington resigned people were all over him. Also when Washington was resigning he asked the government to pay the soilder's for their service. At the time the British were still in America in their forts because we wouldn't also sign a treaty. Hamilton was brewing an idea that we would have a country and a new constitution so the government would have more power. He was not how he was going to do it but he thought if Washington promoted his idea more people would be into it.
