A journey to New Zealand...

Hello reader, I'm Dori Csiszar (yes you pronounce it like the fish in Nemo) I'm from Hungary....Yes it's a country, which is going to be compared later on to New Zealand. Hopefully you will find out some really interesting things, even though (you might think) it's a really short book.
Introduction

Did you know that Hungary is the only country where the native language is Hungarian?

Why New Zealand?
(If you still wonder which one I chose... I choose New Zealand)
I was thinking abut going abroad for a longer amount of time, because in 2012 my brother came to NZ and it was quite an inspiration for me. So after I knew I want to go somewhwre the next question was: Where?
So I thought about two places I might want to visit and learn at : Canada and of course New Zealand

Differences
There are many
differences between Hungary and New Zealand. So this will be the main (and only) topic. I'll try to collect out some of the interesting ones for you.

School system
The biggest differences are in the schooling system of the two countries. While in New Zealand you can choose all your 7 subjects by yourselves, in Hungary you are given all your subjects and you have to do 14 of them. So our lessons start
at 8 sharp and finish at
3 o'clock... and we have
seven lessons a day.
Buildings

Most of the buildings in Budapest (the capital of Hungary) are tall and skinny while in Nelson (that's where I'am in school) they are more small and wide.
Meals

In New Zealand people usually eat the
main or the bigger dish in the end of the day
while in Hungary we eat the bigger dish at
lunchtime.

Sports

In New Zealand people tend to try out more innovative sports and play sports that we don't often do in Hungary, like rugby or netball.
The outdoor sports in new Zealand are more common, like mountain biking, climbing, and kayaking.
Uniform

In New Zealand school pupils need to wear a uniform while in Hungary we can go to school in what ever we want. For example one of the girls who lives in the dormitory went to classes in pyjamas.

Landscape

The landscape of New Zealand is completely different. It's surrounded by water and has a lots of mountains. That could be the reason why the outdoor education of NZ is better.
