One day in the woods of Wolf Grove, shouting could be heard throughout the whole forest. In the den at the end of the road a little pup was yelping and barking.

 “Come on Henry stop playing with that hamster we have to go, we can’t be late," his parents complained, Henry was a most peculiar wolf who had a pet hamster. Even stranger his hamster was named Joey. This wolf had a pet hamster! And the hamster was named Joey!

Henry was the vegetarian pup and he had no need for meat. This wolf was born on the night of the moon's origin. 

He was different ever since he was born and his parents have tried everything to get him to eat meat. “Mom don’t forget no meat in my lunch," Henry reminded his mother

On Henry's first day of school, his parents were afraid that he would be bullied for eating green food. "Why would I be bullied," he said to his dad. He packed his lunch of lettuce and beans, and off to school he went.  

When he arrived at school he sat down at a desk and dropped his lunch. The teacher arrived and she assigned Henry to a spot at the front of the class. “Henry sit over here beside Burt and Bart."

These wolves lived just down the trail from Henry and he has known them since they were just pups.

At lunch that day Henry sat down on the grass. The morning had been long and tiring he was happy to finally get to his lettuce and beans. As he sat down for lunch Burt invited Henry over to sit with them. “Here Henry come sit with us,” Burt invited. Henry swiftly ran over.

On his way over a kid named Hart tripped him spilling his lunch on the grass. As he picked it up Burt walked over and asked him what are you doing eating greens instead of meat. “Henry why are you eating greens?”

“I only eat greens not meat." Henry informs them, everyone laughed until they realize he’s serious. Just then the squirrel bell rang and they had to go inside to continue class. "Chirp, chirp, chirp, chirp,chirp," Henry made it through the day without another incident.

After school he confessed to his parents about being the laughing stock of lunch time. “Mom, Dad they laughed at me all of lunch for eating lettuce and beans." His parents were worried that this was going to happen and immediately asked for every detail.He told them everything except the embarrassing part when Hart tripped him.

The next day Henry still wanted to go to school despite the unfortunate affairs from the day before. When he got to school Hart knocked him off his feet and took his lunch. “Wimp I thought this would be more of a challenge." He threw Henry's lunch in the ditch leaving Henry lying in the dirt. When Henry finally got to class his day got better until lunch rolled around.
