What does Weathering do?
Weathering is when elements such as wind, plants, water, or ice break down something like a rock into sediments. For Example have you ever seen sand before, all that sand you see was created from a rock being broken down by one of the elements for a long, long time.

Can you guess why this rock looks like this?
It looks this way Because overtime the rock was weathered, and the element that weathered it was wind because wind would slowly break down the rock until the rock looks like the one shown.
What does Erosion do?
Erosion is the process in which wind, water, and other things capable of moving a piece of sediments. When water moves sediments the currents of the water pick up the sediments and move them in a position, and wind is the same but wind moves it instead of water.

This is an example of the water erosion process.
What does Deposition do?
Deposition is when the pieces of sediments that where eroded are finally placed down and stop. A great example of deposition is a river delta, a river delta is when at then end of the river where it meets with the ocean it drops all its sediments it was eroding. An example will be on next page.

What does a Delta look like?
This is a delta. If you look at the middle of the river that is a delta, and you can clearly see where all the sediments have been built up.
Golf Coast Plains W.E.D.
The Gulf Coast weathers rock or other things using mainly water because on the shore the rocks are constantly banging the rocks. Therefore your sediments are created and those are also eroded by water. When the wave weather the rock as explained the sediments are carried away with the water. That is the main process of Gulf Coast Plains W.E.D.

In the High Plains the main agent of Weathering is wind and plants the reason it is wind is because wind is capable of picking up sand and grinding against rock similar to a piece of sand paper grinding rock and or metal. Then trees with deep roots grow into rocks and split it open. The main agent of erosion is wind too. Then it can be eroded and then deposited by wind if a dust-storm or tornado happens to picks up the sediments and put them in one place, thus creating what we know them as, sand dunes.
