This book will be about the 13 colonies and their groups (New England,Mid Atlantic and southern Colonies). Also, all their geography, natural,capital,human resources,climate,exports and imports,Social life,religion,Education and reason settled

Chapter 1
New England
Colonies
Connecticut, Rhode Island New Hampshire, Massachusetts
Geography and natural Resources

The geographic features and natural resources rocky soil, many trees, fish, whales,jagged coastline and Appalachian Mountains.



Resources
Their capital resources were buildings, tools and equipment.
The human resources were fisherman, shipbuilding, farmers, lumber jacks,shopkeepers and artisans.






Climate
They had harsh cold long ,mild short summers and moderate short growing season.


Exports/Imports
They exported fish,whales,ships,timber,fur,maple syrup,copper,live stock,horses,rum,whiskey.
They imported
corn, wheat, live stock, beef and pork from the Mid-Atlantic colonies and imported tobacco, cotton,rice,indigo, fur and farm products from the Southern colonies


Social life/Religion/ Education
They had many village events, almost all went the Puritan Church which was located in Massachusetts or the Separatists Church which was located in Plymouth .Everyone learned to read.


Reasons Settled
The New England Colonies settled for religious freedom to practice their own religion not practicing the Church of England .
