I dedicate this book to my family and friend who inspired me to write this.

It was a beautiful day in a quiet little place called Mansfield,Maine. Molly's family and her are out planting their watermelon seeds.

Once their watermelons grow they enter them in contests and always win first place. It has been a tradition in their family for over 500 years.

Molly didn't care about winning. She just liked to draw them from her window.

One day Molly went to go get a closer look and something odd happened. Molly had never seen anything like it before.

The watermelons had eyes, noses, and worst of all they had a mouth. They started talking to Molly.

Hi!
Hi!
Hi!

Molly was so scared she ran around the whole house and went inside to tell her parents that the watermelons came alive. Even though she knew her parents wouldn't believe her.

Molly was right when she told her parents that the watermelons came alive but they didn't believe her for a second. Her parents said if Molly could bring one inside the house and show them they would believe.

The watermelons came alive you have to help me!
Okay Molly if you can bring it in and show us we will believe you.
Molly rushed outside to bring in the watermelon but it was too heavy. The watermelons were yelling at her.

GET AWAY FROM US!
STOP!
Too heavy!
Molly gave up. It made her very mad. So she ran around the watermelon field and smashed every single watermelon till they were all smashed into little pieces.
