I dedicate this book to two very important people in my life. My first dedication goes to my mother. My mom is so caring and loving to me. She always gets me to strive in everything I do. I love my mom so much. My next dedication goes to my best friend since I was 6 weeks old, Owen Schorpp. He is always supportive of things I do and I am thankful to be friends with him.

Once upon a time there was a girl named, "Rhonda," who lived in Atlanta, Georgia and was 12 years old. Rhonda loved to read books about scary stories.

It was the year 1972 and Rhonda was reading a book called, “One Spooky Night," and on the front cover it said, “based on a true story.” When she was on Chapter 3, line 2, it had an address that read, "0694 South Highland, Atlanta, Georgia." It only took her 2 weeks to finish that book.
After that, she spent day and night searching on the internet, reading research books, and even asking anybody if they had heard of it. Suddenly, she was so eager to find the house, that one day she went off in search of 0694 South Highland, Atlanta, Georgia.
So she packed all her things and left. Then several days later she was so happy she had finally found it; the house. But as she got closer, she became more fearful. Then she was stopped at a sign that said, “BEWARE DO NOT GO ANY CLOSER OR YOU WILL BE SORRY!” After she had read the sign there was another sign further along the path that said, “Property of Owen Schorpp.”
So finally, she had reached the house. After she had looked at the house she remembered that from her research that this was an 1892 mansion named, "The Rush House," and the owner of it was Owen Schorpp.
This house was the scariest house in the U.S. Legend says that Owen was murdered by his sister in 1944. Then she read that in 1948 a girl named, "Taylor Rose," went to this house and wanted to see what was inside. But when she went in, she was met by the spirit of Owen sitting on the rocking chair that was in the living room.
As she stared at him he said, “How dare you enter my house, if you do not leave you will be sorry!’’
She then said, ¨Who are you?”
“I am Owen Schorpp, I was killed by my own sister.”
“Why would she do that?" asked, Taylor.
“Go or you shall never see the light of day again,” Owen screamed in a ghostly voice..
“I shall not! Not until I help you find peace,” Taylor told him.
"Fine then, I will keep you in my house forever and you will soon be like me!" Owen screamed.
Then from that day on, Taylor Rose was never seen again.
After thinking about what she had read, she went on the front porch of the Rush House and was hesitant about opening the creaking door. As she walked in, the floor creaked and dust and cobwebs covered the walls. She saw nothing scary or creepy walking around.
Rhonda did not encounter any ghosts so she thought she could use her Ouija board that she had accidentally left in her car when she was at her friend's house. So she went and got it. Then she brought it into the house and started the game.
The first question she asked was, “Owen, Owen are you there?” Then the game piece had moved to yes. Rhonda had then saw Owen sitting in front of her.
She then said, “Owen where is Taylor Rose?”
“How do you know my name and how do you know Taylor Rose?” Owen asked.“
