First we decorate our house with lights!

This year my dad decided that he will make reindeer, sledges and Santa's legs.

We buy Christmas decorations not as much as others, my dad makes decorations by himself.

I think, because of that we have the most beautiful house in Christmas time.

When decorating is done, we go into the house.

Tradition is that the oldest member of the family has to go for some hay.

He has to bring hay in sheet so we can sit on it. We pray and after that we sit on hay and eat cakes. In the past, people believed that when kids sit on hay during the meal the hans would lay more eggs in the new year.

We put hay that we sit on under the table because in the past people put them under that kids can play with it. In the past, the children took the straw from it and tied it to the fruit tree. They believed that if you tied it, fruit tree will grow more fruits. After tieding it they will go "ju, ju, ju!"

After putting hay under the table, we remove the tablecloth from the table and take various grains and cereals.

We put it on the table in a bowl and take a handfull of it.

Then we pour it on the table in shape of circle and in shape of x.

Then inside the circle we make a cross shape and after that we put some hay inside the circle and some money on top of the hay. Then we put tablechot over it, set up the table and eat. We eat cheese, ham and meat.

After eating it is time to decorate the Christmas tree!

Everyone in my family has their job. Me and my dad put the lights, my brother and sister hang Christmas decorations and my mom doesn't decorate Christmas tree. She is baking some more cookies!

After we decorate the tree, we go to set up nativity scene. That is little house with figures representing the birth of Jesus. There are figures of three kings, Jesus, Joseph, Maria, cows, horses, sheeps and some shepherds.
