To Greece,
If you are always trying to be normal, you will never know how amazing you can be. (Maya Angelou)
Love,
Nana

When Jolanah was a baby she had lots and lots of pajamas.

Her first two days were spent in the hospital.
The doctors and nurses had to check her throughout the day and night to make sure she was okay.

Most of the time when they checked her, she had on onesies that snapped at the bottom.

This made it easy to dress and undress her.
When Mommy and Daddy took her home from the hospital, they didn't dress Jolanah in clothes for big kids.

She didn't wear jeans and a t-shirt. She didn't wear a pretty dress with lace.
Jolanah wore pajamas. They dressed her in white and pink pajamas with feet and a tiny hat on her head.

Her hat had JP on it.

Every day JP wore pajamas. When it was warm, she wore pjs with short sleeves.
When it was cool she wore pjs with long sleeves.

JP's Granddaddy and Nana visited and gave her pajamas with elephants and zebras.

Her Abuelo and Abuela gave her more pajamas with clouds, and stars, and rainbows.

Sometimes JP wore several different pajamas
all
in
one
day.

That's because sometimes babies are messy and need to be cleaned.
The pjs Mommy liked best had little mittens to cover her hands so she couldn't scratch herself . . .

and
footsies
to cover her little feet.
Lots of people gave Jolanah pajamas even before she was born.
Some were small enough for JP to wear the first week; others were big for her to grow into.

JP had lots of different pjs with blue birds and pink rabbits, orange owls and gray mice, colorful butterflies and bright flowers.

She also had some that were exactly the same like the three pajamas with yellow and black bumble bees.
