My name is Edna Marie Johnson, I'm 24 years old, and I'm a housewife in New Orleans. I stay home to cook and clean for my family.

This is my family, from left to right: my husband Roscoe, myself, my mother Janice, my son Travis, my son Michael, my smallest baby Kinte, and my other son Gerald.

My husband Roscoe worked at the bank and he was darn good at his job too. He was the main provider for the home and the family and he was darn good at that too. I didn't work because Roscoe wouldn't let me, we thought it was best that I stay home and care for everyone and everything.

God is good, we finally have a President thats helping (or at least trying to help) us people as a whole instead of that Hoover guy. He's already came up with somethings called the "New Deals" to give jobs I guess, It's been the talk of the town.

This is the rest of my family and Mr. Roosevelt giving more jobs to protect our savings with the Glass-Steagall Act.

Wow, this day couldn't get any worse. Travis has a stomach bug and now this. Roscoe is out of a job since banks closed. He's the main provider of the house what are we going to do?!

Okay now Mr. FDR what is going on you're supposed to lead us in the right direction not the wrong one. My family, and I'm sure many other families, are going to be suffering the most since Roscoe worked there. We're panicking just a tad Mr. President.

With jobs dwindling, the community was suffering.... BAD. We had so much faith in this new President Roosevelt but we're getting let down.
