Pollution is when gases, smoke and chemicals are brought into the environment in large portions that makes it harmful for humans, animals and plants.

Some forms of pollution can be seen, some are invisible. Our Earth has an atmosphere that’s made up of different gases.

We breathe in air everyday and we need it. With our technology growing, people are creating new chemicals.

The chemicals are being released into our environment. Which is causing an imbalance. The most known effect of this imbalance to nature and our environment is Global Warming.

The vehicles that we use to get around such as cars, planes and trucks contribute to air pollution. These vehicles use fossil fuels, like gas, to power its engines. When you see smoke come out of the the cars that is called carbon dioxide.

In the world today we have a lot of cars which is adding a lot to carbon dioxide to our environment. But that toxic smoke is just a small part of our air pollution.

Factories which are used to produce many of our products that we enjoy and use everyday. But the things we use also create that toxic gas that pollutes our air.

Not only does air pollution cause smog, it also causes sickness such as asthma and other bad diseases.

Some of the stuff we throw away is toxic to the environment, like plastic. The contain chemicals that leak into the ground and it contaminates the water we drink.
