One day Michael and Jeremy were at Michael's house and in his basement. They were playing an old school Pac-Man game which was extremely easy since they'd played it many times. The basement was messy with coke bottles scattered all over and two beanbag chairs in front of a TV. Both of them had been best friends since they were seven; they were in the middle of a game when they heard the bell ring. Michael knew he hadn't ordered anything so they just kept playing until they died and then they decided to see what was at the door. It was a box that said 'Good Luck.'

Good Luck
They didn't know why it was there but they still decided to open it. Inside were two sets of perfectly good VR headsets. Even though it was kind of suspicious they still decided to try them on for some reason. The two looked around and saw that they were in some kind of beautiful winter wonderland.
They could both see each other in the world and when they looked up they could see that the blue sky was like an infinite dome with little squares. Both then heard voice that seemed to come from nowhere, so they both asked each other about the source of the voice. Michael then blurted out, "Isn't it obvious? It's from our headsets." The voice had said that they were stuck in this video game and simply had to do three levels that got harder as they went on and they'd be free.

They suddenly felt a cold breeze and were confused since they weren't outside and the AC wasn't on. Michael tried taking off his VR set but found it stuck no matter how hard he pulled. Suddenly they were both transported into another area that seemed like a huge Pac-Man game. The room was black and one side seemed to be glass with a Pac-Man game on the other side. On their side of the glass was a control stick that was similar to the ones at the arcade. It was clear that it was a Pac-Man game because it had the exact same layout, but the characters were different. Pac-Man was a penguin that slid around and all the ghosts were polar bears.. The voice abruptly came back which startled both of them.
