One poor little dolphin named Winter was trapped in a crab trap. A marine hospital called Clearwater Marine Aquarium found her and nursed her to health. But sadly her tail didn't survive. Her tail had to be amputated (A special word for taken off) but life wasn't over yet for the dolphin. She got a prosthetic (That's a fancy word for fake) tail. Winter was the first dolphin with a prosthetic tail.

But now Clearwater faced another problem. Winter's poolmate (Or pal) was at old age and could die soon. On top of that, let me tell you, that a female dolphin must be paired with another dolphin. If they couldn't find one, Winter would have to move. And nobody wanted to lose beloved Winter.

Panama & Winter

But just like a magic, there was a call telling them that a baby female dolphin was beached away from her mother and needed some care because she wouldn't survive on her own. Soon, the baby dolphin arrived. They named her Hope. Hopefully she would be Winter new mate if Panama died.
