Major Events in Animal Farm
1. A pig named Old Major
addresses Manor Farm and
tells all the animals about a
rebellion against the farmer,
Mr. Jones. He says that the
farmer has been treating them
like slaves and the injustice
must end.

2. Shortly After old Major passes away, the
farmer forgets to feed his animals and they
decide to rebel against him. The animals
drive Mr. Jones and his wife off of the farm,
leaving everything they own behind. The
animals celebrate and write a set of
commandments that serve as a guide as to
how to live.

3. After appointing the pigs, Napoleon and
Snowball, as leader of the newly named,
"Animal Farm", the animals work happily to
support themselves. After Napoleon and
Snowball argue over the production of a
windmill, Napoleon orders a coup d'etat
against Snowball to drive him off of the
farm. Napoleon then gains power and
orders for the windmill to be built. The
animals work very hard with little food
while the pigs still live in luxury.

4. The pigs secretly start to change the
commandments by adding words such as
"to excess" and "without reason". The
animals slowly start to get brainwashed
and believe the word of the pigs.

5. After a long time, the pigs go to live in
the house in luxury, while the animals
suffered. The pigs decide, after being
friends with humans for a long time, to
rename the farm to it's original name,
Manor Farm. In the end, after a taste of
freedom, the animals ended up in worse
suffering and hardship.

Word to Describe Napoleon
One word to describe Napoleon is corrupt. I chose this word for many
reasons. First, he said that he was taking one of the animals to the
hospital when he really was taking him to his death. Second, he
changed the commandments to give him more power. Third, he
ordered an attack on Snowball just to have all of the power of the farm.
Fourth, he took the puppies of one the dogs away just so he can have
protection from battles and other animals but tells the animals that he
is just giving them proper education. Finally, he totally neglects the
ideas that all of the animals wanted to live by by going to live like and
with humans.

Lesson from Animal Farm
Animal Farm is a satirical attack on the
corruption in many government systems in
the world today. I learned that no matter
what other people say, it is important for
one to make his own decisions and think
for himself, no matter what kind of
influences there are.
