Born June 20th, 2013 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center (JRMC). Named by her dad, because of his love for shoes and mom was looking for an unisex name. Jordyn Addison Penister was welcomed into the world.

Jordyn was born prematurely and had to be forced feed every two hours. This kept Jordyn parents up all night. Jordyn never let it been showen that she was premature she kept a smile that could light up any room.

Jordyn dad loved to hold her, as she was his biggest blessing. 6 months to a 18 months old, Jordyn dad realized that, this was his biggest regret because Jordyn wanted to be held 24/7 or she would cry non-stop.

Jordyn mother also loved her so much that, when Jordyn was able to eat table food, her mother would cook and take her food to her on a serving tray. This was her mother biggest regret because it became impossible to teach Jordyn about cleaning up and responsibility. Also Her mom loved treating her like a princess and taking pictures.

When Jordyn was 1 year old going on 2 years old, she scared both her parents and family members. Jordyn had to be rushed to Children's Hospital where she had to fight for her life.

After about 5 days being in the hospital, the doctors came in and said they have done everything they could do and it was only up to Jordyn to pull herself through. That day the pastor came and we all prayed over/for Jordyn.

The very Next day Jordyn woke up and starting climbing up and out her safety cage. Jordyn got better over the next 4 days and was released to go home.
