About Liechtenstein
Liechtenstein is a beautiful European country known for its breathtaking landscaping and medieval castles. It is fun to learn about all of the country's interesting facts and understand the influence it had to our world today. The country has a variety of different cultures and beliefs to learn about.

Government
Liechtenstein's Government is called a principality. The government was formed based on the 1921 constitution and the power of state is shared between the Prince and the people. Currently, the regent of Liechtenstein is Alois. He is the Hereditary Prince and eldest son of Hans Adam II, the Prince of Liechtenstein. The current prime minister is Adrain Hasler. He represents the people.

Geography
Half of Liechtenstein is covered with mountains, called Central Alps. The country is located in the heart of Europe between Germany, Austria and Switzerland. It is on the bank of Rhine and it's main source of water is called the Rhine River (separating Liechtenstein from Switzerland to the west). There are two main climates: Lake Constance climate zone is influenced by the Atlantic where it's wet and cool, and Inner Alpine zone where it's dry and warm. There is little rain.

Economy
Liechtenstein is a small country, but it has a strong source of economy. It has a GDP of $4,978 and a GDP per capita of $139,100. There are mostly service types of businesses in Liechtenstein. 52% of the country work in service, 41% are in Industry, and 7% work in Agriculture. There are no natural resources so foreign trading is important.
