One Halloween night, two children left their 

home to go trick -or- treating.

After walking down their block, the children 

came along their first house. It looked dark, 

but they knocked anyways.

"Trick-or treat!" they shouted. But, nobody 

answered. 

After knocking again, the two children entered 

the house in search of some yummy treats. 

"Hello?" they yelled, "Hello?" No one answered, 

but strangely, there was a fire burning in the 

fireplace. Someone must have been there.
