This is Delilah! She is starting 6th grade. It is her first day at Hardin Park. She moved all the way from Florida to come to Boone!

Delilah is a little nervous getting on the bus, she has butterflies in her stomach

She sits all by herself in the front of the bus, until someone comes and sits next to her!

"Hi! My name is Harper" She says.

"Hi, I'm Delilah. I'm new, I just moved here from Florida," Delilah replied.

"Cool! I can show you where all of your classes are if you want," Harper said with a smile.

"That would be great! Thank you!" Delilah exclaimed happily.

The bus pulled up to the school, and Delilah saw the big sign saying Hardin park with a golden eagle next to it.

Ms. Smalling, the principal, and Mr. Godwin the vice principal, welcomed Delilah to the school.
