What is a family problem?
Family problems are present in all types of family relationships whether single-parent, homo-parental, nuclear, extended, assembled, adoptive ... normally these problems are effectively solved within the family, however there are times when relationships are so deteriorated that the family can not solve them so it is necessary to go to outside help to do so.

Most common family problems:
Lack of communication: difficulty in expressing emotions or needs.
Inappropriate or impulsive behaviors: fights, substance use, etc.
Difficulties in adapting to change: arrival of a new family member, changes of address, loss of work, loss of a loved one
Pathologies of some member of the family: development of disabling or chronic diseases, both physically and mentally.
Excessive rigidity or permissiveness: Management of very strict or permissive norms, wanting to be right always curtailing freedoms of the other members of the family.
Management of daily tasks: assumption of responsibilities in the tasks of the house, management of the family economy
External conflicts of the children: problems with friends, problems at school.
Decision making: allow decisions or deny them to any member of the family, not knowing how to give.
Disrespect: screams, insults, physical aggressions

TREATMENT
Family therapy focuses on the search for solutions to conflict, on increasing the respect of each member as an individual with their desires and needs, increasing mutual understanding and emotional support. Development of family cohesion activities and effective communication strategies, all aimed at improving the functioning of the family as a group and each member individually.

Proverbs 10:12
Hate awakens quarrels;
But love will cover all the fouls.
