Dedicated to Jesus

Baptism
Baptism is when you are cleansed of your original sin. This usually happens as a baby, but not every time. You are assigned a godmother and godfather. The priest has a baptism candle lit and water is poured on your head as he says, "In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit." The color of Baptism is white.

Reconciliation
Reconciliation is when you go to forgive your sins to a priest or to God. It really isn't the priest, its God communicating and forgiving us through the priest. Don't be afraid to tell him your sins,he won't tell anyone. this sacrament can be given multiple times in your life time.

Eucharist
The Sacrament of receiving the body of Christ, which is the circular piece of unleavened bread we eat during Mass. A step further in Church. You usually get this around 2nd Grade. The color of Eucharist, like Baptism, is the color white.

Confirmation
Confirmation is when you are seen as an adult within the church. This happens with a bishop and you are blessed with oil. Every church does this at different ages, but now it is usually around freshman-sophomore year of high school. The confirmation color is red.
