Lula Petunia is a little pink pig who lives on a farm. She is the happiest pig in all the world. Lula Petunia loves to grunt happy songs to herself and skip around the farm.

Every morning Lula Petunia would squeeze under the fence of the farm and merrily wander into the woods and greet all the little creatures and wildflowers with her cheery songs.

Wandering through the farm one bright and sunny day, Lula Petunia saw a family she had never seen before. Their fluffy white hair sparkled in the sun, and she instantly fell in love and excitedly ran up to them.

Lula Petunia joyfully met the little puppy named Powder Puff and his parents, Mommy Puff and Daddy Puff. Lula Petunia and Powder Puff became instant friends! In fact, Lula Petunia made it her duty to make sure that her new friends felt welcomed and loved in their new home.

Lula Petunia spent the day showing Powder Puff all around the farm and introduced him to all of her best friends. They played with Mama Hen’s chicks. They played hide and seek with Cuddles the kitten. They chased away a big scary dog that growled at them and joined Miore the pony in a game of tag with the pigeons and a bluebird. They played and played until Lula Petunia heard the ringing sound of Mommy Pig's bell calling her home for supper.

Lula Petunia raced home and told Mommy Pig all about her new best friend Powder Puff.

"Mommy, this was the best day ever. We had so much fun. Powder Puff can run faster and jump higher than everyone, and he is so brave. He barked and growled at a big scary dog, and we chased him away.”

“I want to be just like Powder Puff," said Lula Petunia. "Mommy, can I have soft white fluffy hair too?" Lula Petunia asked excitedly. "It's so beautiful.
