Introduction

Switzerland and New Zealand have same types of government and economy but they have different things between those two countries.

INTRODUCTION

Switzerland government

Switzerland’s government is the democracy.That means people vote their representative by themselves. Now Alain Berset is the president of Switzerland government. Switzerland has two parliament which is the National Council( 200 members) and the Council of States( almost 50 members). Switzerland federal government made up of 7 members. They rotate the president every 1 year. Seven members elected by parliaments of almost 250 members.

People who are 18 years or older can vote for the 250 members every 4 years. When they can disagree with the law and they can request them to change it. Free Democratic Party, Christian Democratic Party, Social Democratic Party, Conservative Democratic Party of Switzerland, and Swiss People’s Party are five big parties in Switzerland.

NEW ZEALAND GOVERNMENT

New Zealand’s government system is also democracy which means people vote for the leader and people has right witch choose their representative by themselves, but  New Zealand has Queen and people vote for others.  New Zealand is the federal country of United Kingdom. New Zealand people vote for parliament and they  vote for the prime minister who represents the cabinet. And now Jacinda Ardern is prime minister. People who are 18 years old or older and people who lived in New Zealand more than a one year can vote.

There are two tiers in New Zealand. That is Central government and Local government. Central government control whole country like about energy, education, income, export, policies, building something and tax. Local government control only about they’re the city.Two tiers help to control the country.

There are same and different things between Switzerland and New Zealand.  Both country people elect for parliament then they vote for prime minister but New Zealand prime minister represents the cabinet, not a country.    

Switzerland president (7 members) control all about their country and they rotate the president every 1 year. Both countries vote for the parliament and people who are 18 years old or older can vote for the president.

SWITZERLAND ECONOMY

The types of Economy in Switzerland is the Free market that people has 75% freedom. The government takes 25% freedom. Switzerland exports many things and get $302B. For example gold, diamond, medicines, and watches.They sold gold a lot that they sell that 27 % of their things for selling. Then they import things with $268B.

They trade gold and medicines a lot. Most important thing is that they make watches with their own jewelry and other countries’ jewelry and sold it to another country to get money.
