Hello my name is Mia.

This is my family.

I have a Mum, a Dad, and a puppy named Blue.

I have three siblings; Ryan, Sofia, and James.

This is my best friend Ella. We do everything together. I mean we did until dad got sick.

I was so happy but then dad had to leave for a little bit. Mamma told me he would be home soon.

"Mamma, when is dad coming home?"

"He is very sick sweetheart, but when he feels better we can go see him, okay?"

One day mamma, took us all to this big building and said that dad was in there and told us not to be scared.

I didn't know what was happening but everyone else seemed to know.

"Mamma, where is dad. I'm scared."

"Knowing that my dad is sick makes me feel sad."
