A convection current is a current in a fluid that results from convection.convection currents are caused by heat and cold going in circular motions making a pattern.convection currents are important because without them the world would fall apart.
The theory of continental drift- Alfred Wegner proposed the continental drift. And scientist were doubtful about what he was trying to propose because he had no evidence of it.
1-Boiling Water- The heat is coming from the bottom which heats up the water and the hot lava circulates with the ocean water and makes convection current. 2-Radiator-warm water from the top mixes with the cold water from the bottom and mixes. 3-Hot air balloon-The hot air makes the balloon rise and the cold air releases the heat and lowers the balloon. 4-Ice melting-Heat from hands while holding ice melts it.
Plate Tectonics-The outer rigid layer of the earth is divided into a couple of dozen plates that move around the earths surface relative to each other like slabs on ice.
The plates move at a convergent boundary by the new crust is generated as they pull away from each other.
In plate tectonics a divergent plate boundary is a feature that exsists between two tectonic plates that are moving away from each other
