Dedicated to my family, friends and teacher.

Once upon a time, in a town near the Savanna there lived a young girl. That girl was... you guessed it, me! The story I am about to tell you about is about one of my adventures as an Wildlife Veterinarian. Now lets get to the story.
Anyway, I was heading to the Savanna and I seamed to have lost my way, so I asked a few people selling fruit. "Hi!" I said, "Do you think that you could help me find my way to the Savanna?"
"You'll never make it little girl," said one fruit seller "It's too far."
" You'll starve to death." said another. "You could get squashed by a buffalo!"said the tallest and meanest one. Then they all started laughing.

"First of all I am not small and second of all it's not too far, I can make it easily. Third of all there are no buffaloes in the Savanna."
I said in a voice that was braver than I felt.
"Oh I'll make it there easily without getting squashed by a buffalo." said the biggest and meanest one in a squeaky voice and they all started to laugh.

"Don't lisen to them..." said a voice. "Who are you?" I said.
"That I can not tell you..." responded the voice.
" Then where are you" I asked.
"I can't tell you that either."
"Then what can you tell me?" I asked.
"I can tell you that I am here to help you find your way."
"Don't lisen to them..."
"I can tell you that I am here to help you find your way."

You are going to the Savanna... right?"
" um...Yes. How did you Know?"
"I just know." said the voice. "So you have to take two turns to the right then go straight until you get to the zoo. Then ask the zookeepers. Now hurry, before he comes back!"
"Before who comes back?" I asked.
"Just go! Hurry!" said the voice again.
"Well thank you." I said as I turned to leave.
You are going to the Savanna... right?..."

I did what whoever that person is and got to the zoo. "Hi!" I said to the zookeeper, " my name is Sofia. Can you help me get to the Savanna?"
"Sure" said the zookeeper, "My name is Eddie by the way."
So once I got all the instructions, Eddie said " This will be very hard so if you need any help I'll be right here, got it?"
"Got it!" I repeated, "and thanks Eddie." And I was off.

When I was in the middle of the Savanna I herd a savage cry. Then right after the cry there was a howl. It sounded like an animal was in pain. I ran with all I might to where the sound was coming from.
Roar! ...
Ouch!

When I came to the place where the howl came from, I was shocked!
There was a hurt lion cub! "owwwwww" yelled the lion cub.
"That voice sounds familiar." I said to myself. Then it hit me! The lion cub was the one that helped me find my way to the Savanna!

"Ow! Help!"
"What happen?!" I asked. I think the lion recognized my voice because he yelled in a very soft voice
"Help me!"
He did't move a muscle!

help me!

what happened?!
He was really hurt! "Don't worry, I'll be back with help!"
I yelled as I ran towards the zoo. "Help Eddie, there is a hurt lion!"

As soon as he heard this Eddie and I jumped into the truck and off we were. As soon as we got there I jumped off and went to the lion cub.

Well it took like two hours until we were back and the lion cub was cured. Once the lion cub was comfortable I told him "little lion cub, thank you."
