Well, it turns out that he had help from one of the most influential people in any person's life.
You see, Arthur had been playing tennis for quite a while. He began to play more when his mother died because it was a pastime he shared with her. After she left him he was constantly asked by coaches whether he would like to train with them. And overtime he said no because nobody could replace his mother as a coach.

So when the woman approached him he was not surprised.
"Your pretty good," she said to him.
"Thanks!" he replied, his patience already running thin. .
"Maybe I could give you some pointers," the woman said.
"Do I have to pay you?" Asked Arthur.
"Of course not, said the woman.
Then the two worked on Arthur's serve, volleys, forehand, and backhand. Never before had Arthur been given such amazing advice. They continued to work together for weeks on end. Arthur was quickly becoming a great tennis player.
