My older sister was going to take us to the amusement park today. I asked my friend, Chloe, if she would like to join us.

She came with us, and our first stop was the ferris wheel. While we were in line waiting to get onto the wheel, my four-year old brother Michael was becoming more and more scared. He did not understand what it was. He was terrified!

My sister, Liz, had to explain to him that it was not scary. It was like a disk that spins. He kind of understood what was going to happen but was still nervous.

We split into two separate groups. Liz with Michael in one group. Chloe and I in the other group. After Chloe and I got off of the ferris wheel, Michael and Liz got on. Michael still looked worried. I told him that it was really fun, and not to be nervous.

When they got off, I could see that the ferris wheel had exceeded his expectations. He was smiling so big. "Natalie, that was so much fun!" Michael shouted.

We decide that we should buy some snickerdoodle cookies at the concession stand next. They were so warm and delicious, and we had all finished them within a minute.
