Quackville

Once upon a time... lived a pond full of big and little ducks. These ducks lived in a pond town called Quackville. Quincy Quack lived with his family, which consisted of Mama Quack, Papa Quack, Quinn, and Quentin. Quinn was Quincy's mean older sister who was embarrassed to go anywhere in Quackville with him. Quincy's brother Quentin was the oldest in the bunch and he constantly intimidated Quincy and made fun of him with his friends.

One day, Mayor Quack called and ordered their weekly town meeting and got together all the mother and papa ducks. Mayor Quack was going over the towns financial business, when out of the blue, Quincy Quack began screaming, "the water is poisoned, the water is poisoned."

Being a judgy town, no one believed Quincy so they went on with their lives but Quincy quack knew that the water was not safe.He went as quickly as he could to the scientist who would surely help him.

"Mr. Quack," scientist said, "I appreciate your honesty, but I am a scientist who graduated from the DDG School of the Scientific Discoveries of Ducks, so I know what I am talking about when I say that the water is not poisoned."

Quincy Quack walked away ruefully, disappointed in the fact that no one in this town trusted him.

Days had passed since Quincy had visited the scientist and he had given up warning people. He walked around barely even believing his claim anymore, but when he was about to go for a swim, he noticed several ducks crowded around Quincy who stared at them with bloodshot eyes, grinning about finding piles of bread like gold underwater.
