Chapter One,

The Bush

Bob Cat, Munch, and Shoes are still chilling at their tree house, and remember, Bob Cat isn’t a bobcat, he is an American bobtail cat. They are also very loud cats, they like to shout. It was a day after they enjoyed their delicious salmon. Today they were very hungry. Munch went outside just to get some fresh air. Munch then he noticed that the bush started to twitch.

Munch shouted, “The bush is alive!”

Bob Cat and Shoes heard him, and they sprinted to Munch as fast as they possibly could. They both inspected the bush, but they couldn’t see anything. Then they all headed back into the tree house. Munch once again went outside to get some fresh air.

Munch screamed, “The bush just moved again.”

Bob Cat and Shoes heard him again, and this time they walked over to Munch. When they got there, they inspected the bush once more. This time Munch wasn’t kidding, the bush was actually moving. Bob Cat, Shoes, and Munch all came running back inside the tree house. Munch was, of course, the last one back to the tree house.  Bob Cat had made a plan that he had hoped would work. His plan was to have Shoes watch that bush until it moved again.

Then once it moved, Munch would have to go down there and throw a rock at the bush. Then, Bob Cat would have to start digging in the bush to see what all the commotion was. They all did exactly what they were told.  When Shoes saw the bush move, she made a signal. Munch then threw the rock. It moved like planned, but then the bush started sprinting everywhere. When it was Bob Cat’s time to play his role of the plan, he struggled.

He did eventually pin down the bush. He was digging in the bush to see what was hiding in it. He was surprised to see that it was another cat.

Chapter Two,

The Mysterious Cat

They brought him inside the tree house to ask him questions. They put him in Bob Cat’s room, shut the door, and started asking the questions.

Bob Cat asked, “ What's your name?”

The new cat mumbled in reply, “Binx.”

Bob Cat inspected the cat. He was a very long, narrow cat, that had snowy white fur. They asked him a few more questions and then had him sign the contract that said they would have to be friends forever. All four of their names were now on the contract.

Then they were just chilling once again in their tree house.

Munch then asked, “ Do we have any food?”

Bob Cat replied, “No we don’t.”

They all started complaining that they were starving. Bob Cat decided to try and find some food so he wouldn’t have to listen to them complain. He looked all around, but all he could find was one, small bread crumb. They all ran to Bob Cat to investigate this bread crumb. They all wanted it besides Bob Cat.

Bob Cat announced, ”If you want the bread crumb, you will have to play rock, paper,  scissors. Who ever wins the round will win the bread crumb. Got it?”

Munch, Binx, and Shoes all screamed, ”Got it!”

They played rock, paper, scissors until Shoes won.

Shoes shouted, ”I won!”

Before Shoes could eat the bread crumb, Munch swooped in and ate it. Munch was still hungry, and Shoes was very mad at Munch.

Shoes screamed, ”Why did you eat my bread crumb? Whatever, it was just a bread crumb.”

They were all still very hungry. Bob Cat tried to think of ideas, but he couldn’t think of any good ideas. Munch then smelled the air and smelled something so dreadful, it was unbelievable.

Munch smelled the air once more.

Munch called out, ”Bob Cat, what's that smell?”

Bob Cat then smelled the air, and he had also smelled that horrible smell Munch was talking about. Bob Cat ran around the tree house sniffing everywhere. He was trying to locate where the smell was coming from. He searched and searched until he finally gave up.  Shoes was relaxing until she heard their conversation. She got curious and started to look around, too.

She didn’t like the smell, but she wanted to see where it was coming from. She then repeated what Bob Cat did. She looked all around the house and couldn’t find where it was coming from. She got an idea to look outside. She opened the front door, took a sniff, and found where the smell was coming from.

Shoes shouted, ”The smell is coming from Diamond Park.”

Bob Cat and Binx ran towards Diamond Park, while Munch walked. They all smelled the air and Shoes was right, it was coming from Diamond Park. Bob Cat was determined to see what was creating that awful smell. Bob Cat then jumped out of the tree house.

Bob Cat shouted, ”Follow me!”

They all jumped out of the tree house and their journey began.

Chapter Three,

The Expedition

They were following Bob Cat until he had halted. He had no idea where he was going, but the smell became stronger with each step he took. He assumed that they had to be in the middle of the woods. Bob Cat then had a brilliant idea. He decided to follow the smell. They all decided to follow the smell, just like Bob Cat. They were all following the odor until they all started to split up.

Bob Cat went straight, Munch went left, Binx went right, and Shoes went backwards. They needed a new plan, so they all started to think. Shoes had the first idea.

Shoes explained her idea, ”We could get a GPS and follow the directions.”

Bob Cat denied, ”How would we get a GPS?”

Shoes mumbled, ”I don’t know.”

Munch thought of an idea.

Munch explained, ”We could use a compass.”

Bob Cat denied again, ”Where would we find a compass, and we don't know which direction the smell is coming from.”

Munch replied, ”That is very true.”

Bob Cat and Binx thought, ”Maybe we could use a map, maps never let you down.”

Binx whispered, ”I can’t think today. I forgot to turn on my brain. Maybe tomorrow I will remember to turn it on.

Bob Cat had a genius idea.

Bob Cat shouted, ”We could follow our tracks from the salmon adventure that we had taken, but we would have to go into the town. Should we try my idea?”

They all nodded and started to look for their tracks. They were looking hard, very hard.

Binx shouted, ”I found some tracks, I don’t know if they are your tracks or not though.

Everyone besides Binx ran over to investigate the tracks. Binx was right, those are their tracks from their previous adventure. They all started following their old tracks. They realized that their path was quite strange, but they still followed the path. They went through a forest, then a field. They had to wait for Munch a lot because he has very short legs. They were walking and then Munch saw smoke.

Shoes saw a road and some buildings. Binx smelled the air and the smell was stronger than ever. Bob Cat heard a truck horn, and that’s when he realized that they had hit town.

Chapter Four,

Town

Bob Cat turned around and warned everyone that they were in town. They all nodded and continued to walk. Now they were on the sidewalk, being very careful. There were many different sized humans; some tall, some short.

Bob Cat announced, ”We need to split up, our old path won’t work. There are way too many humans.

Munch, ”I will go right.”

Shoes, ”I will go left.”

Binx, ”I will follow Munch.”

Bob Cat, ”I will go with Shoes. Okay, let's get going!

They all started to walk their ways. Right away, Bob Cat and Shoes found an issue. Right in front of them was a huge brick wall. The wall was just chilling there, minding his own business. Bob Cat and Shoes had to get around or over this wall. Their first idea was to try and jump over it. Shoes jumped, but didn't make it.

He could only jump half way. Bob Cat tried his second idea which was to climb over it. Bob Cat attempted to climb over, but he failed. The gravity was too strong, so he got pulled to the ground. Shoes had another idea. He suggested that using a ladder would work well.

Bob Cat denied, ”Where would we get a ladder?”

Shoes replied, ”Go find one.”

Bob Cat shouted, ”Where?”

Shoes mumbled,”I thought you would know.”

Bob Cat replied, ”No, I don’t know where I would find one.”

Shoes shouted, ”Then we should think of a new idea!”

Bob Cat replied, ”Yes we should.”

They started thinking, and then Bob Cat had a genius idea. Bob Cat could hop on Shoes, then jump up on the top of the brick wall. He could then pull up Shoes, and they could see what's on the other side of the wall. Bob Cat explained this to Shoes, and Shoes agreed that his plan would work. They put their plan into action. Bob Cat was on top of the brick wall. Bob Cat pulled up Shoes and they looked on the other side. They saw diamond park, and then a grill with chicken on it. The chicken was cooking on the grill, but it looked a completely black.

They seen the owner run off of the bench straight for the chicken. He must’ve forgot about the chicken. The owner threw away the burnt chicken and hopped in his car. He drove away, but he went to a store right next door. The name of the store was, Food Palace. He entered the store very angrily.

Bob Cat whispered, ”He is probably buying a new chicken.”

Shoes whispered back, ”Yeah, that must be it.

He eventually came out of the store with a brand new chicken.

Bob Cat whispered,”I was right, he did get a fresh chicken.”

They watched him enter his car and drive back to Diamond park. He jumped out of his car, and headed straight back into the park. He fired up the grill and started cooking. Meanwhile down by Munch and Binx, they were walking along the brick wall. Binx started to turn around because they were getting absolutely nowhere.

Binx shouted, ”Follow me.”

Munch shouted back, ”Okay.”

They ran back and on their way, they spotted Shoes and Bob Cat.

Binx and Munch shouted together, ”What's up?”

Bob Cat whispered, ”Not so loud, there is a person near.”

Binx and Munch whispered, ”Okay.”

Bob Cat pulled Munch up onto the wall, while Shoes pulled Binx up onto the wall. Binx and Munch started to scan out the area and there was a person.

He was skinny and tall, and must be forgetful after what just happened.

Binx screamed, ”I want that CHICKEN!”

Bob Cat whispered, ”Shhhhhh!”

The guy then turned around and started looking in every direction. He heard a strange noise.

Munch whispered, ”I think he heard you.”

He started to walk towards them. The guy didn’t see them, until all of the cats bailed.

He started running towards them.

Bob Cat shouted, ”Run, everyone run!”

They all ran home and almost got seen by that mysterious guy.

Munch shouted, ”That was a close one!”

Shoes shouted in reply, ”Sure was, I hope that doesn’t happen to us again.”

Binx shouted, ”Yeah, I agree.”

They just arrived back at their tree house and wanted to relax. Munch went in his room, Bob Cat went in his room, Shoes went in her room and Binx went in the living room.

Chapter Five,

The Morning

Bob Cat woke up hungry. He went over to his friends, and proceeded to wake them up. They were also hungry, very hungry.

Bob Cat shouted, ”We need to go back and see if there is any chicken today.

They all agreed with him, and then they headed outside. They followed their tracks from yesterday, and found the wall where they had seen the man. Bob Cat climbed on top of Shoes and was on the wall. Bob Cat pulled each one of his friends up and they had a perfect view on the park. That guy was there again.

Shoes whispered, ”That's kinda weird that he is still here.”

Bob Cat whispered back,v”He probably went home and then came back here.”

Shoes whispered, ”That makes sense.”

They were watching him as he put the chicken on the grill and started to cook it. It was only a minute and they could smell the delicious chicken. The guy sat back on the bench, but this time with a timer.
