It was a hot, sunny 

spring day in the little 

old town of 

Breckenridge. All of the 

kids were playing at 

the park.

Best friends, Haley and 

Hilary were swinging 

on the swings talking 

about boys that would  

make good guy friends. 

Haley thought that 

Luke would make a 

great guy best friend 

because he is nice and 

smart.

The rulers of the sandbox, 

Tess and Oakley watch Luke 

and Haley through the trees 

at the playground. They 

watch how nice he is to Haley 

and how much he likes her as 

a friend.

At the sandbox, Tess and 

Oakley also watch how mean 

Dillon is to Hilary. What they 

don't understand is that, Hilary 

stills wants Dillon to be her 

friend.

Preston, Tess and Oakley's 

younger brother shows up at 

the sandbox telling them to 

watch Bradon try to 

swing.They all laugh at Bradon 

because he doesn't know how 

to swing but acts like he does.

At the swings, Bradon gets 

mad and starts pushing the 

other kids off of the swings.
