For everyone who thinks the grass is greener on the other side.

There once was a girl named Anna who lived in a small village named Greenville.

After doing all her chores and homework, Anna would fall asleep and dream. Every single night she dreamed the same dream.
Anna dreamed of being a princess. She would wear pretty dresses and a sparkly gold crown and live in her very own beautiful blue castle. Best of all, every girl in Greenville would be her friend.

One day, when Anna was walking home from school, she saw a bunch of flowers. They looked bright and magical and she wanted to take them home. She picked and picked until there were no more flowers to pick.

When she was almost done, Anna looked up and saw that it was getting dark outside. Suddenly, it started to drizzle!

Anna was really scared. She dropped her flowers outside and looked around. There was only one house. She ran closer and soon realized it was a castle! So she ran inside the castle to stay dry.

Hey! No tourists allowed here!

When Anna entered the castle, she didn't see anyone except a grumpy guard yelling "Hey! No tourists allowed here!" Anna was even more scared and tried to run away.

No Reginald! Don't make her go, she's probably lost!
"No Reginald! Don't make her go, she's probably lost!" shouted a girl's voice.

As you wish, Princess Madeline.
A girl wearing a dazzling green dress and golden crown ran inside the room. "As you wish, Princess Madeline," the guard responded. "A real-life princess!" Anna thought to herself. She had never seen a real-life princess before.

When Princess Madeline took her to her room, Anna was surprised. Princess Madeline had shelves of books and her own television. She had a large, comfortable bed fit for a queen.

"Wow Princess Madeline! You have everything a girl could ever wish for!" said Anna."Actually," said Madeline, "I don't," "What do you mean? You have so many books and dresses and a ginormous TV!" said Anna.

"I don't think you get it," responded Madeline, "All I've ever wanted is to be normal. Sure, I get to watch a lot of TV. But all I see is kids like me free and having fun. I have a private tutor and nanny because my mom and dad won't let me leave the castle for my safety." "So you've never left the castle?" asked Anna.

"Well, one time I did." said Madeline. "For what?" said Anna "Well," she said, "One time I was really lonely and wanted somebody to play with. So I came up with a plan. I would go outside and plant a bunch of flowers hoping that someone would come find me."
