One Day, Tommy and his Mom were walking along the beach when Tommy saw a hurt seabird named Sally.
Tommy asked, "Mom, what wrong with her? Why does she have plastic wrapped around her?"

Tommy's Mom responds, "I don't know Tommy, but I don't think there is anything we can do?"

Before Tommy could answer his mom, Robby the Beach Ranger walked up.

Robby said, "Actually ma'am, there are several ways that you can help save the ocean and the animals that live there."
"First, you can help clean up the beach. Whenever you see trash like, plastic and food, you can pick it up."

Robby continued, "A lot of people create international clean-up days that help prevent trash from entering the ocean, you can participate in."

"You can carry reusable water bottles, use less straws, and eat at home more often to help lessen the amount of plastic used everyday."

"Tommy, when you grow up you could become a scientist. You could research and share details about whats trashing our oceans."
