This book is intended to teach third grade students about the water cycle.

Hi there! My name is Wyatt and I am a water droplet. Right now I am a tiny drop in this pond, but I will not always stay that way. Why you ask? Because of the Water Cycle!

It is noon time and the sun is straight overhead. I can feel myself and the rest of the pond heating up. The sun is in control of the entire water cycle!

Suddenly, Wyatt felt himself begin to rise. The sun heated the pond enough that some of the water began to evaporate. Through evaporation, some of the water travels up into the air and back into clouds. Wyatt does not look like himself anymore because now he is water vapor.

This is my favorite part of the water cycle because it feels like I am flying!

I have finally reached the sky! Without the strong heat of the sun, I am starting to get cold again and I can feel myself turning back into liquid. This is called condensation!

Raindrops then begin to form clouds.
