The Colosseum, named because of it's large size, was used for entertainment when gladiators fought animals or each other. The Colosseum was sometimes flooded and mini sea battles were fought.

San Gimignano is one of the most celebrated villages in Italy. It's horizon is filled with the tops of medieval towers such as the Torre Grossa.

The tallest tower here is 230 feet tall.
