One day Ellie and her pal Meghan went to the zoo.

Ellie was so excited to see the elephants!

Meghan was more excited to see otters.

But they both wanted to see giraffes...

They even heard they could maybe feed them!

Ellie and Meghan finally made it to the zoo!

When they got to the zoo, they had to decide which animal they would see first.

First they saw the lions. They even heard the lions roar!

Then Meghan spotted the water area!

She thought hopefully the otter would be there!

But they weren't in that water section. They did get to see some penguins.

Ellie's little brother was so excited to see the penguins and wanted to watch them the whole day.

Ellie and Meghan did not like this idea and only watched them for little bit before they moved on to see the next animal.
