Pesky Pisces
I am a pesky Pisces
I wonder if love will ever find me
I hear the insignificant comments in my head
I see the world as an unsuccessful peace
I want a long a fulfilling life
I am a chaser of a down to earth heart
I pretend to be enveloped in a perfect world
I feel insecure of the image I see
I worry I won’t find eternal love with another
I cry for the families involved in world attack
I am a monarch of kindness and acceptance
I understand the feelings of my peers
I say, “The world is a stage!”
I dream of a body with no flaws
I try to conquer the treacherous uphill battle
I hope to bloom like a Fernleaf Fiddleneck
I am a pair of twin fish, watch me swim

Who I Am
Blake
Bunglesome, brilliant, beautiful, bashful
Sister of Amanda, Rob, Meagan, Mya, and Monty
Lover of nature, white chocolate, and classic sitcoms
Who feels proud, confident, and loved by family
Who needs a job, my best friend, and California beaches
Who gives appreciation, kindness, and a shoulder to cry on
Who fears rejection, bereavement, and cryptic spiders
Who would like to see the world, spiritual growth and Calum Hood in concert
Resident of the oatmeal house on the vertical, rising hill
Adler
Dream of Gran
Masking outside in the sun’s embrace
The pigment of my skin changing as it starts to burn
Gran unbending under the shade of the cool porch
Eyes lightly scanning the archaic outside cracks in the house foundation
Smiling as she recalls the memories
The magnificent sycamore tree where she would lay on school days
The sticky lunch table where she shared her sweet candies for the first time

The day she lent a helping hand to someone in need of love
Immediately rolling out of her longing gaze, Gran called for me
The yellow sun setting amongst the friendly breeze
The old Willard dog barked at voices of visiting families
Gran looked me with love and sincerity as she began to speak of kindness with her soft voice.
Beauty engulfed her as I gave her a longing hug
Before I realized it, the lone breeze swifted her away

Bunglesome Joy
Bunglesome: [buhng-guh l-suh m], adjective, no plural applications
Clumsy and awkward is the word
Talking to a boy who smiles like a dream
Stubbing small toes on corner pieces of wood
Stumbling in for a job in front of a judging audience
Feeling the embrace of an uninteresting admirer
Speaking with a non-stop, fighting tongue
Shooting out a toot in a quiet English class
Wishing to be free of a situation amongst misinformed friends
I am as this word says and I wouldn’t want it any other way
It’s Kind of A Sad Thing
I once had a dying dream to sing
Sometimes when I had nothing to bring
I tried a sweet and solemn song
Something went incredibly wrong
Now I only sing like a sad thing

Musical Muse
He plays his rhythms
Hot rock bops
Others play sweet and soft melodies
His true and unique
Fantasy envelopes the mind
As he plays my song
All for me
Dancing to the upbeat sound
Passion in my soul
Lust in my eyes
Love in my soul
The voice of pop punk
The one and only
The one for me
Like a flame
Calum is finally here

Light
The light finds her
In the vibrance of the garden
Marigolds laughing at the sun
Shining doves linger in the blue sky
Blood orange warmth rises
Singing dreams dangle
Waking up memories
Mama moves in surprise
The horizon has a golden light
The light finds her

Busy Burgers
Burgers! Burgers!
Sizzling meat in between Toasty breads
Now it's time for pickles
Lettuce is ahead
You continue with tomatoes
Your almost there
Onions and avocado
Maybe not here Maybe not here
Ketchup and Mustard Mustard
Definitely Yes Yes
What about mayo you ask?
Maybe not in this task Maybe not in this task
Is it done?
It’s done.
Deliciously done burgers. Deliciously done burgers.
