Water pollution occurs when water becomes

dirty and it affects life on earth.

There are two basic types of water pollution:

What is the problem?

The problem is when we drink this polluted water. This water is not healthy for all living things.

So, this polluted water makes us sick.

We experience fever, vomiting, diarrhea.

Is the problem growing day by day?

Yes, it is growing because not only people but

ALL animals in the river and ocean are affected. Garbage, oil, and plastic bottles block needed sunlight, causing fish and animal life to die.

What can we do about this problem?

First, we can recycle, plant trees, pick up litter,

ride a bike, and reuse bags. Second, we can ask

the government to create and enforce laws to protect our rivers and oceans.
