Once upon a time there was a little turtle named Henry who struggled with making friends.

His turtle family consisted of a mom, a dad and a twin sister named Ruby, who all lived on the Wildflower Ranch.

Ruby was the most popular turtle on the ranch and was always making friends. Henry never understood why Ruby could have so many friends and he had none.

Day by day Henry’s shyness kept him from making friends at school and on the farm, until one day he was eating lunch by himself and someone came up to him.

“Hi Henry, my name is Penelope the pig and I just saw you and thought I should sit by you. Why are you sitting alone?”

Henry suddenly crawled into his shell shaking nervously by the company of Penelope.

“Henry it’s okay I didn’t mean to scare you. Please come out, I want to talk to you."

Henry nervously crawled out of his shell and apologized for his shyness.

“I’m sorry I don’t have any friends and I get nervous when someone new talks to me.”

“That’s okay! “I can help you with that.”
