Malaya's Vacation

One day on a fine sunny evening, Malaya was hanging the clothes outside. It was a warm sunny day where she lived. Malaya turned to go to the bucket her mother always kept the wet clothes to wash. She ran and picked up the tub full of wet clothes. As Malaya went to dry the clothes up, she saw her friend Marina pass by. "Marina!" Malaya said. "How was your camp?" "Good," replied Marina. Every day, Marina had a summer camp at Brest fields. Malaya didn't really know what it was about, but she still found it cool.
Summer was almost over and Malaya still hadn't planned anything fun to do. Just as soon as Malaya thought that there will not be a vacation, her mother said, "Malaya! we are going on a vacation! You can bring one friend." Malaya screamed. Malaya ran inside and started to pack. Malaya's mom came outside and said to Marina "We aren't even going till next week! What has gotten into her." Inside Malaya was packing for the trip. But then Malaya remembered, she can bring a friend! The next day at the park her friend said "Malaya, so who are you going to bring?" Malaya paused. She didn't know what to say. "Come on! Tell us!" said Amy, her friend from camp, Malaya ran home. She didn't know what to do. She wants to bring all of her friends but she can only bring one.
The next day, Malaya decided who she wants to bring to the vacation. It was Marina, her best friend. She can't wait 'til the vacation! The time finally came. She, her mom, her dad and Marina walked to the airport because they lived a block away from it. The flight was long but they made it! After a whole night of being in an airplane, they all took a rest in the small modern resort.
