A Church of Extraordinary Beauty

The height of the church is 61 meters. It is one of the highest churches in Belarus! And in fact the church impresses with its majesty.

The park around the church is fascinating. There are figures of 12 apostles, angels, crosses and strange plants and trees in it. They make everybody amazed and feel like in a magical world.

The growing stone crosses in Turau

The growing stone crosses in Turau are one of the wonders of Belarus, unexplained by scientists. 

According to a legend, these crosses came to Turau via the rivers Dnieper and Pripyat from Kiev. When people pulled them out of the river, the water became blood.

Incidentally, the number of the crosses was 12, just like the number of the Apostles.
